Ingredients for making cutlet:
1.Paneer - 100 gm
2.Oats - 100 gm
3.Onion - 1 finely chopped
4.Green chilli - finely chopped
5.Chilli powder - 1/4 tbsp
6.Garam masala - 1/4 tbsp
7.salt - to taste
8.oil - required
9.Flattened rice - roasted and crushed into coarse pieces
Method:
Crumble the paneer and kept aside.
Roast the oats and kept aside to enable crispyness in cutlet.
Roast flattened rice and crush into coarse powder and mix with flattened rice and kept aside.
Mix paneer and all the ingredients given above with required salt and knead well.Add oats and knead well.
In a pan grease oil for making cutlets.
Make balls from the dough and flattened them.Roll over the flattened rice and place gebtly in the pan.
Cook both the sides well and cook in medium flame.
Serve this with tomato sauce or chilli sauce.

Ingredients needed
Oats - 2 tbsp
Dates - 3
Almonds blanched - 3-4
Jaggery/sugar/ honey - 2 tsp (I used powdered jaggery)
Milk -3/4 cup
Preparation
Soak almonds in boiling water and peel the skin.
Method
Cook oats in 1/2 cup of water and allow it to cool.
Blend almonds, dates in little milk first, then add cooked oats, jaggery, rest of the milk and blend for a few more seconds.
Pour into tall glass and serve chilled.

Serves-1
Ingredients needed
Oats - 1/4 cup
Milk - 1 cup
Banana - 2 small or 1 big
Dates - 3 chopped
Powdered Jaggery - 1 tbsp
Preparation
Blend bananas and dates with little milk separately and keep it aside.
Method
Combine oats with little water and cook till it reaches a thick consistency.
Add jaggery to taste. Leave it to cool.
Then add the remaining milk, grounded banana and dates paste. Mix well and enjoy.
Variations- You can add any dry fruits of your choice.

Ingredients needed
Oats - 2 tbsp (I used Quaker oats)
Skimmed milk -3/4 cup
Onion - 2 tbsp finely chopped (I used pearl onions)
Garlic -2 cloves minced
Pepper powder to taste
Salt to taste
Oil - 1 tsp
Preparation
Finely chop or mince onion and garlic.
Method
Heat oil in a pan, saute onion and garlic until onion turns translucent. Keep it aside.
Cook oats in 1/2 - 3/4 cup of water stirring continuously until it thickens.(This will take only 3-4 minutes)
Then add milk and bring it to boil. Switch off the flame. Add onion+garlic mix, salt and pepper powder to taste.
Serve piping hot with toasted whole wheat bread.

Serves: 4 persons
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 5 minutes
Ingredients: 4 tbsp. white oats
300 gms. paneer (crumbled)
1 no. white onion (medium sized)
1/2 cup chopped red and green capsicum
1 tsp. oil
Cumin seeds, salt and pepper to taste
A handful of coriander leaves for garnishing
Method
Cut the white onion into fine pieces.
Add the cumin seeds and chopped onions to the oil in a pan.
Saute until the onions turn transparent.
Add the capsicum and sauté for a few more minutes.
Add the oats and cook for 2 mins. on a low flame.
Add the crumbled paneer, salt and pepper.
Stir for a few mins. until all ingredients blend together.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
Serve hot on toasted brown bread.
Tip: The paneer bhurji can be served on an open toast, as a roll or wrap stuffing, or as a samosa or mushroom filling.

INGREDIENTS:
BROKEN WHEAT 3 TBLSP
OATS 3 TBLSP
LOW FAT MILK 1/2 CUP
SUGAR 1 TBLSP
CINNAMON POWDER 1/4 TSP
APPLE SLICES 1/2 CUP
BANANA SLICES 1 CUP
BUTTER 1/2 TSP
Method
Wash the broken wheat nicely and drain the water.
Heat the butter in a pressure cooker, add the broken wheat and sauté for 3 to 4 minutes.
Now add oats and saute for 2 mins.
Add the milk and 1 cup of water and pressure cook for 2 whistles.
Add the cinnamon powder and sugar and mix well.
Keep this in the refrigerator.
Serve with sliced apples and bananas.

Ingredients
Makes 6 rotis
Wheat Flour -1 cup
Oats - 1/2 cup
Onion - 1 medium sized
Jeera - 1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves - 2 tsp finely chopped
Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Oil -1 tsp + as required for toasting
Salt - to taste
Method
Grind oats to a fine powder. Then mix oats powder with wheat flour then add oil.
Add red chilli powder, onions, coriander leaves, salt and mix well. Add water and start keading. Knead it to a smooth
pilable dough just like chpathi dough.
Make equal lemon sized balls and set aside for 15-30mins.
Using a chapathi roller roll out to a slightly thin circle, dust flour while rolling.
Do it gently as it tends to tear easily. Heat dosa tawa and add the roti carefully, drizzle oil.
Once bubbles starts appearing turn to other side,.
Cook on both sides till brown spots starts appearing.
Serve hot with dhal or any curry of your choice.

Powdered oats - 1 cup
Toor dhal - 1/4 cup
Chana dhal - 1/4 cup
Moong dhal - 1/4 cup
Onion - 1 big finely chopped
Red chillies - 2
Garlic - 4 pearls
Ginger - 1/4 inch piece
Fennel seeds - 1/2 tsp
Fresh coriander leaves - 1/2 tbsp
Salt - to taste
Oil - to toast
Method
1. Wash the dhals and soak it for an hour. Then drain water and grind the dhals with red chillies, garlic, ginger and fennel seeds to a coarse paste.
2.In a wide mixing bowl, add the ground paste with powdered oats. Add chopped onions, coriander leaves and required salt.
3. Add water to make it to a batter consistency. Keep aside for an hour. Take 1 laddle full of batter for a adai.
4.Heat a dosa tawa and spread the batter like we make for dosa. Drizzle oil and cook on both the sides till golden brown.
Serve hot with coconut or tamarind chutney or idli podi of your choice.

Ingredients:
Makes 10 idlies
Instant oats - 1 cup (I used quaker oats)
Wheat Rava - 1/2 cup (I used wheat rava, you can use white rava also)
Curd - 1/2 cup
Water - 3/4 or as required
Carrot - 1 medium sized grated
Mustard Seeds - 2tsp
Green chilli - 1 tsp finely chopped
Salt - to taste
Hing - 1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves - 2 tsp finely chopped
Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
Oil - to grease idli plates
Method
Dry roast oats for 3 minutes and set aside. Cool it completely then grind it to a fine powder,
Dry roast rava till nice aroma rises....it may take 3-4 mins, then set aside. Transfer to mixing bowl.
Add a tsp of oil in a kadai, add mustard seeds, let it splutter then add grated carrot,
green chillies, and coriander leaves. Saute till raw smell of carrot leaves.
In the mixing bowl containing oats and rava, add curd, salt, hing, baking soda and sauted carrot with tempering done.
Add required water to make a batter consistency of our normal idly batter.
Grease the idli plates with little oil. Gently put the batter on idli plates with a laddle.
Steam it for 10-12 minutes or until done. Serve hot with any chutney of your choice.

Ingredients:
Oats - 1 cup
Rice flour - 1/4 cup heaped
Rava -1/4 cup
Jeera - 1 tsp
Onion - 1 chopped finely
Green chillies - 1 finely chopped
Pepper powder - a pinch [optional]
Oil - as required
Salt - to taste
Water - as required
Method
1.Dry roast oats for 3-5 mins till a nutty aroma comes and the color of oats slightly changes. Allow it to cool down then powder it finely.Add little oil and saute the onions,green chillies for 2mins.
2.In a mixing bowl-Add oats powder, rice flour, rava, jeera, onion, green chillies, pepper powder, salt and mix well.Add water and make a thin batter like rava dosa batter.Heat the dosa tawa, take one laddle of batter and drizzle it from the corners and finishing off in the middle like we do for rava dosas. There will be holes seen as in the pic. Drizzle oil, allow it cook till golden brown and turn over to other side, leave it to cook then transfer to the serving plate. Enjoy ur crispy oats dosa hot.
Tips
After 2 trials I adjusted and made the oats dosa close to the style of rava dosa. The result was crispy dosas do try it out for yourself. Since the day I tried this oats dosa, its regular on our menu atleast once a weekm it is sure a better alternative to the usual oats porridge.
