Ingredients
1/2 cup vinegar

1/2 cup finely chopped mint leaves
1 Tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt

Method
Heat the vinegar and sugar in a saucepan over low heat, stirring all the time.

Heat till the sugar is dissolved, then bring it to a boil and add the mint leaves and immediately shut off the heat and add the salt.
Your mint sauce is ready. This sauce keeps well if you pack it in a sterilised, screw top bottle while it is still quite hot.
